Sara Agerton has dedicated her career as a social worker to helping others, and now she wants to continue making a difference by being the State Representative for District 88. Sara understands the needs of Pennsylvanians like you because she is one of you, and she is ready to deliver.

Affordable Healthcare and Reproductive Freedoms

Every American should have easy access to high-quality, affordable healthcare. Agerton believes that while Democrats have done good work on healthcare issues, hardworking Pennsylvanians deserve more. She will fight to lower costs and expand options, with a special focus on making mental healthcare more available to those in need.

Furthermore, Sara believes that abortion should be safe, legal, and accessible. Highly personal decisions like getting an abortion, or pregnancy through IVF, are between people and their doctors. Agerton will work in the State House to ensure that decisions like these are yours, and no one else’s.

Well-Funded Public Education

Public education is the bedrock of a brighter future for Pennsylvanian children as well as adults looking to further their skill sets. Pennsylvanians deserve the best education possible, but that takes proper funding. Agerton will go to the State House and make sure our public schools have every resource they need. She understands that good public schools are a top priority for Pennsylvanian families and will fight for them.

Housing, Infrastructure, and Jobs

Affordable housing is way too tough for hard-working people to find. That especially goes for young people looking to rent their first apartment or for middle-class families wanting to buy a house and fulfill the American dream. Agerton will fight to bring new affordable housing options to the district.

Furthermore, Agerton knows that modern infrastructure is essential to a flourishing community. She will focus on expanding public transportation and green spaces so that our downtowns are more walkable, and our local businesses thrive.

Lastly, the people of District 88 want to work—and she wants to help expand job opportunities with small business support, new green jobs, and upgraded infrastructure that will help grow our local economy.
